Luvcat Announces Debut Album “Vicious Delicious”, Shares Title Track
British singer-songwriter Luvcat has announced her upcoming debut album “Vicious Delicious” will be released on October 31, 2025 via AWAL.
The album comprises 13 tracks, produced by Oli Barton Wood and Kurran Karbal.
From the album, Luvcat released the title track “Vicious Delicious” as the sixth single off on July 9, 2025.
The song is accompanied by a music video, which was co-directed by Oliver Bradley-Baker and Luvcat.
The track was written by Archie Faulks and Sophie Morgan Howarth. Produced by Oli Barton Wood.
Luvcat said of the song, “Vicious Delicious is a song about a terrible man who tasted like heaven. He was moreish, magnetic, devilishly handsome and danced like Fred Astaire. A true hedonist with a black eye to match. I was thinking a lot about Sid & Nancy at the time.. dangerous, intoxicating love. WARNING: do not fall for a man in band.”- The debut album was written between Paris and various studio sessions. It is a whirlwind ride through love, lust and the lunacy in between.
Luvcat said of the album, “Making this album happened accidentally. Amongst the madness of the last year I decided I didn't wanna fuck around with EPs or mixtapes. I really wanted to make my first proper statement and when I found out Halloween fell on a Friday, I knew we had to be fast to get it together. Its lipsticks a little smudged and its stockings are a little torn, but I am so proud of how we've captured this strange, magical story and all the lovers and libertines I've met along the way. I think the record is old school romance slightly off its hinges. A swinging pendulum between love and addiction, ecstasy and melancholy, eroticism and innocence, the deliciously vicious and the viciously delicious.” -
