Evanescence Drops New Music Video for “Fight Like A Girl” featuring K.Flay
American rock band Evanescence, consisting of Amy Lee (vocals/keyboards), Tim McCord (guitar), Will Hunt (drums), Troy McLawhorn (guitar) and Emma Anzai (bass), dropped a new music video for “Fight Like A Girl” featuring American singer-songwriter K.Flay, directed by Chad Stahelski on July 7, 2025.
The collaborative song was released last month from the action film “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” soundtrack.
It was written by Amy Lee, Dylan Eiland, Kristine Flaherty, and Tyler Bates. Produced by Tyler Bates and Dylan Eiland.
The track plays over the end credits of the film, which was directed by Len Wiseman, starring Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves.
In addition, Amy Lee teamed up with American singer-songwriter Halsey to contribute “Hand That Feeds” to the soundtrack.
Amy Lee said of the video, “'Ballerina' has been an incredible ride that pushed me to team up with some of my heroes in both music and film. Along the way the project just kept getting bigger and better, and when it was time to talk about a video for 'Fight Like A Girl', I was dead set on it being Chad. I just refused to shut up about it until it happened! We had so much fun making this, and Chad was a dream to work with. We are all absolutely thrilled to share what we made together.”- Director Chad Stahelski, who also produced “Ballerina” and directed three films of John Wick franchise, said, “When we finished making 'Ballerina', we knew we wanted to end the film with a song that personified the tone and energy of 'John Wick' but with its own identity. After talking with our composer Tyler Bates, we knew who we wanted... Amy Lee and EVANESCENCE. They delivered one of the best main on-end songs ever, a song that captures the film's character and leaves the audience smiling as they leave the theater. To be part of the journey and to be able to work with the band on their music video was one of the best, and certainly one of the most fun, experiences of my career.”

The song marks the first collaboration between Evanescence and K.Flay.
Amy Lee said of the song, “Tyler [Bates] calling me up to create this song for 'Ballerina' couldn't have come at a more perfect time, I know I'm not the only girl out there ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we're made of. I really wanted this song to be a collab, and K.Flay is one of my favorite artists. It is literally a dream come true to do this together!”
K.Flay added, “Amy [Lee] sent me the demo and I was immediately so energized, so inspired. I was on tour at the time, and I wrote my verse backstage after a show, when my adrenaline was still super high.
