  • Craig David Releases New Song “In It With You” featuring JoJo

  • British singer-songwriter Craig David joined forces with American singer-songwriter JoJo to release a new song “In It With You” on July 11, 2025.

This marks the first collaboration between Craig David and JoJo. But the pair performed JoJo's “Too Little Too Late” at Mighty Hoopla Festival in London back in May.
The song is the fifth single off of his upcoming ninth studio album “Commitment”, which is set to be released on August 8, 2025.
It was written by Craig David, Negin Djafari, and Mike Brainchild, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Mauro Fernandes Borges, as with his previous video for “Wake Up”.

Craig David said of the song, “I'm feeling so much gratitude to be sharing this song & moment with an artist I admire. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you Mauro Fernandes Borges, ESTÚDIO CIE for the visuals this one is special.”

The new album comprises 13 tracks, featuring guest appearances from JoJo, Tiwa Savage, and Louisa Johnson, produced by Mike Brainchild and Tre Jean-Marie. It is his first album in three years since the 2022 album “22”.

Craig David said of the album, “This album has been an incredible journey & full of magical experiences from beginning to end. I can't wait for you to hear it.”
  • Craig David told EUPHORIA. about working with JoJo in an interview back in May, “I was so gassed when it all came together because we had a demo originally done by one of the songwriters called Megan, who's done several songs with me over the years. Amazing songwriter. I sent it to JoJo, and it all aligned. Tori Kelly had a song with JoJo, and Tori had come over to London and we'd done a little surprise thing at an acoustic performance. And Tori's vocals are incredible as well. There was this perfect synergy where I was like, 'Maybe JoJo would be cool for doing a vocal, but I don't know.' Even if she doesn't the song, if she was just up for us going in the studio and doing something together, I'd be down for it. But she came back and said, 'No. I love the song. I'd love to cut it.' I told her that she could do a new verse, do her whole thing. I told her, 'I want you to be part of it.' She was like, 'No, no, no. I love the song. I wanna sing it as it is.' I was like, 'Wow. Okay. Cool. Let's go!' She cut the vocal in New York, but we were literally talking to each other all the way through and having a conversation. There was a rapport there rather than it just being like, 'Here's the song.' I asked her to send it when you're done, kind of thing. But when she sent it over and I just heard that vocal, I was in my bag because I was like, 'Yes, JoJo!' I felt it was a song that was great before, but she's taken it to another level now.”

  • He continued, “She's unbelievable. And you know what? I felt there was a lot of synonymous things going on because she'd released a book quite recently too, and it was cathartic to her. She was wearing her heart on her sleeve, like going into places that would have been hard for someone to share with the public in the way that she did. And I just felt like I respected her for that. And I feel like she's in her new glow-up season of, well, everything's here in the book. You know how I feel about things. But, also, how great I am as a vocalist and a live artist.”
