Morgan Myles Releases New Song “Que Sera Serenade”
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Morgan Myles released a new song “Que Sera Serenade” on July 11, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “How Does That Sound”, which was released back in May.
The track is an empowering Americana anthem about surrender, strength, and self-trust, inspired by her own mantra of letting go and leaning into faith.
It was written by Gary Nichols and Morgan Myles. Produced by Ross Hogarth, as with the previous song “How Does That Sound”.
The accompanying music visualizer was directed by Daniel Hamm.
Morgan Myles said of the song, “This song has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I wrote it just before one of the most difficult personal decisions of my life - ending a wedding engagement. It's now become my healing anthem, my reminder that letting go is sometimes the strongest thing you can do. 'Que sera sera' means what will be, will be - and this song is about trusting that truth, reclaiming your freedom, and having faith in what lies ahead.”- She continued, “I am constantly saying to myself 'que sera' because sometimes you just have to let it go... this is my anthem and a reminder to trust your path. I have found my faith has always guided me and every word is laced from past experiences to move forward.”
She added, “This song couldn't come out at a better time for me... it's my anthem, every word. Funny that when we wrote it, I didn't know I would be healing from a relationship that I thought would last forever... but God has a plan, sometimes it's hard to understand why tough seasons happen but it's how we learn and move on. One thing that's completely changed my life is just understanding most things are out of our control... now fast forward to my 'Que Sera Era' what will be, will be.” -
Co-writer Gary Nichols said, “I'll never forget my first writing session with Morgan Myles. We connected instantly. Her voice had me hooked from the start, and since then, we've co-written several songs, including two favorites: 'Love Is Lonesome' and 'How Does That Sound.' Singing with her on this project was the icing on the cake, with Ross Hogarth's incredible production. If you haven't discovered Morgan yet, get ready to be a fan for life.”
