Kacy Hill Announces New EP “But Anyway, No Worries!”, Shares New Song “The Garden”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Kacy Hill has announced her upcoming EP “But Anyway, No Worries!” will be released on August 27, 2025 via Nettwerk.
The EP is her first project since the fourth studio album “Bug”, which was released last May. She wrote the EP in Los Angeles and Nashville.
From the EP, she released a new song “The Garden” on July 1, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the EP, following “Please Don't Cry” and “When in Rome”.
She co-wrote the song with Tofer Brown. Produced by Paul Cartwright and Tommy King.
Kacy Hill said of the song, “Tofer Brown and I wrote this together a few weeks after I moved out of my house. I was staying in a friend's guest house, watching the rain pour down, and thinking about how my garden at the old house was growing without me. It all felt like the perfect metaphor for my life at the time; I felt like I'd given so much of myself to someone that gave so little to me, and here I was again, handing over the one thing that gave me so much joy. I'm grateful that time heals and we learn from our mistakes and I have a beautiful new garden that I tend to and sit in with friends and watch the sun go down over the mountain. The garden continues to teach me about what love really is.”- She said of the EP, “This project was written in LA and Nashville and in so many ways, feels like the project I've been trying to make for years. I've had so much to say and work through over the past year and felt like the best way to say it was to just write songs. Every project I've made before has started with production ideas, and I build songs around little production loops or ideas, but this was entirely about the words and melody. I want to make something timeless that feels deeply from me and pulls from my biggest inspirations in country and folk music.”
