Besphrenz Announces New Album “bert”, Shares New Song “yeah” featuring Anthony Green & Keith Goodwin
Philadelphia-based indie rock band Besphrenz, consisting of C.J. Smith (vocals), Tay Richardson (vocals) and Rob Devious (producer), has announced their upcoming first full-length album “bert” will be released on October 24, 2025.
It is their first project in six years since the 2019 self-titled EP “esphrenz”.
The album comprises 13 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Anthony Green and Keith Goodwin, produced by Rob Devious.
From the album, the band released the first single “yeah” on July 1, 2025.
On the track, the band teamed up with American singer-songwriter Anthony Green and American indie folk band Good Old War's Keith Goodwin.
This marks the first collaboration between Besphrenz and Anthony Green, but Besphrenz and Keith Goodwin have worked together on the EP “esphrenz”.
The track was written by Anthony Green, CJ Smith, Keith Goodwin, Rob Deckhart, and Taylor Richardson. Produced by Rob Devious.
The accompanying music video was directed by John Note IV.- Besphrenz said of the song, “We made 'Yeah' in a moment when everything felt a little stuck - but here we are. The core of this project has always been about collaboration and friendship. Fortunately through the highs and lows we've been lucky to never have lost that.
