Kelsie Watts Returns With New Song “FIT IN”
American singer-songwriter Kelsie Watts returned with a new song “FIT IN” on June 20, 2025.
The song is her first solo music in year since the 2024 single “After Midnight”.
As the single, the song follows the collaborative song “Forgetful” with Nate Amor, which was released last October.
The track was written by Kelsie Brits, Zach Jordan, and David Quiñones, who also produced it.
Kelsie Watts said of the song, “‘Fit In’ is a song for anyone who’s ever felt left out, less than or awkward. It’s one I wrote from a place of never feeling cool enough. Growing up I was never invited to the parties, I didn’t have a date to prom, I was picked on, told I needed to lose weight etc. It took me a long time to really figure out who I truly am outside of what others think about me. I hope that ‘Fit In’ gives listeners not only confidence in themselves, but creates a place where they feel like they belong.”- She shared on social media, “People made fun of me. Told me I needed to lose weight.... It took me a long time to realize I don’t have to fit in - I can just be me. And that’s more than enough.”
