Wild Horse Premieres New Song “Overthinking” on BBC Introducing
Sussex-based indie pop band Wild Horse, consisting of Jack Baldwin (vocals/keyboards), Henry Baldwin (bass), Ed Barnes (drums) and Jade Snowdon (keyboards/violin), premiered a new song “Overthinking” on BBC Introducing in Sussex & Surrey with Melita Dennett.
The song is the second single released after new member Jade Snowdon joined the band, following “Read My Mind (Vibes Song)”, which was released back in April.
The band first performed the song on BBC Sounds - Orchards in the Live Lounge earlier this month.
The sound is a dynamic blend of funk-infused guitar pop, channeling the raw energy of hip-hop rhythms and the timeless swagger of ʼ60s and ʼ70s Brit rock.
It was written by Jack Baldwin and produced by Gary Stevenson, as with the previous song.- The band said of the song, “Following on from 'Read My Mind (Vibes Song),' we had an amazing time working with renowned producer Gary Stevenson once again. We worked very hard with some wonderful people on this one. We really hope you love the final result.”
