Sabrina Carpenter Releases New Song “Manchild”
American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter released her brand new single called “Manchild” on June 5, 2025.
The song is her first music since her sixth studio album “Short n' Sweet”, which was released last August (the deluxe edition was released in February 2025).
Sabrina Carpenter co-wrote the track with Amy Allen, and Jack Antonoff, who co-produced the track with her.
The accompanying music video was directed by Vania Heymann & Gal Muggia.
Sabrina Carpenter first performed the song at Primavera Sound 2025 in Barcelona, Spain on June 6, 2025.
Sabrina Carpenter said of the song, “I wrote Manchild on a random Tuesday with Amy and Jack not too long after finishing 'Short n' Sweet' and it ended up being the best random Tuesday of my life not only was it so fun to write, but this song became to me something I can look back on that will score the mental montage to the very confusing and fun young adult years of life.”- She continued, “It sounds like the song embodiment of a loving eye roll and it feels like a never ending road trip in the summer! Hence why I wanted to give it to you now - so you can stick your head out the car window and scream it all summer long! Thank you always and forever for listening and thank you men for testing me!!”

Sabrina Carpenter will perform her Short n' Sweet Tour at Hyde Park in London on July 5 and 6, 2025.
After London's show, she will launch the North American leg of Short n' Sweet Tour at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on October 23, and will conclude at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on November 23, 2025.
