Absolutely Returns With New Song “Goodbye Glitter”
British singer-songwriter Absolutely returned with a new song “Goodbye Glitter” on June 13, 2025.
The song is her first solo music in two years since the 2023 album “CEREBRUM”.
It was written by Abby-Lynn Keen, Floyd Nathaniel Hills, and Paul Keen. Produced by Danja.
The track features Gina Luciani on flute, Virginia Figueiredo on clarinet, Danny Levin on trumpet, Gracie Sprout on harp, Jondren Hwang on violin, Marza Wilks on cello, and Johan Lenox on piano.
She has already filmed a music video directed by Tanner Deutsch, which is coming soon.
Absolutely said of the song, “What a beautiful journey it took to get here. It began with my Dad Paul Keen who wrote this piano melody years ago and he would play it throughout the house all the time until it became a familiar melody. He played it again more recently and it sparked inspiration in me. So I brought the melody into the studio with Danja who helped me craft it into this wonderland of a song, a Tim Burton odyssey, hauntingly beautiful and moving.”- She continued, “And then I knew it had to be orchestral. So We brought in the masterminds Peter Lee Johnson on the strings and Johan Lenox to arrange the other instruments. Alex Dowidchuk recorded vocals and all the instruments. Josh Gudwin on the mix.”
She added, “This song feels so magical, my inner child feels so seen when she’s listening to it. I hope it can do the same for you when you hear it. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to create like this.” -
