Evalyn Returns With New Song “The Feeling”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Evalyn returned with a new song “The Feeling” on June 13, 2025.
The song is her first solo music in a two years since the deluxe edition of her debut album “Salvation”.
Also, the track is the first taste from her upcoming sophomore album “A Quiet Life”, which is expected to be released in 2025.
It was inspired by the euphoric sounds of the 2010's.
The track was written by Evalyn Kerr and produced by Evan Pruett. The accompanying music video was directed by Maya Sassoon.
Evalyn said of the song, “This song is really about being taken over by a feeling or a raw instinct and we wanted to create that through movement. I was 6 months pregnant and crawling on the floor in heels and pink tights - I think that helped capture the chaos.”- Comprising 10 tracks that Evalyn wrote and recorded during her first pregnancy, the new album pushes further into conceptual territory, drawing production inspiration from dissonant frequencies.
It's her most visceral work yet, co-created with some of Los Angeles' most innovative producers to weave a sonic narrative of consciousness, tension, and surrender. - source : Apple Music
