Nxdia Releases New Song “More!”
London-based Egyptian-Sudanese alt-pop singer-songwriter Nxdia will their upcoming debut mixtape “I Promise No One's Watching” on June 13, 2025.
From the mixtape, they released a new song “More!” on May 2, 2025.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop.
It was written by Nadia Ahmed, Henry Tucker, and Joe Kearns, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music visualiser was directed by Relta.
Nxdia said of the song, “All you can think of is their proximity to you, the electricity and chemistry. You need them, you need to know them through and through. The desperation, the craving for more. You want to peel back every layer.”
They added, “I wrote this song about that feeling when you're fully intoxicated by someone, when your brain goes dumb and you're just thinking 'wtf, im obsessed' and you want more and more of them, you can't get enough. I hope you get as obsessed with More! as I am because I can't wait to sing it with you allll summer!”- The mixtape comprises 10 tracks, featuring collaborations with producers and songwriters including Kurisu, Jacob Manson, Joe Kearns, Henry Tucker, and The Nocturns.
Nxdia said of the mixtape, “It's everything I went through when I thought no one was watching. There is a version of me that wants to not care what anyone thinks, and there's the version of me that cares so deeply. It's about being free to be who you want to be, having the freedom to express yourself, having a not-give-a-f**k attitude, but at the same time being paranoid, analysing yourself every step of the way.
