Mae Muller Releases New Song “In My Head”
London-based singer-songwriter Mae Muller released her brand new single called “In My Head” on June 13, 2025.
The song is the second release as an independent artist.
In 2024, she left Capitol Records after the release of her debut album “Sorry I'm Late”, and was taking a hiatus. But she returned with “Breakaway” back in March.
It was written by Autumn Buysse, Gil Lewis, Mae Muller, and Nick Gale. Produced by Gil Lewis.
The accompanying music video was directed by Mae Muller herself.
Mae Muller said of the song, “I wrote this song like I was writing a diary entry, more like a stream of consciousness. It comes from a vulnerable place which can be uncomfortable, but also, it's such a privilege. Now, I'm really able to take control and write my feelings exactly how I want and in my own voice, and I'm really enjoying the power that comes with that. It feels really special.”- She added, “I love being vulnerable, I love being brave, I love feeling the fear and doing it anyway, I love music and I love this insane job I have for giving me so many complex and confusing thoughts and feelings that I can put on to a page and make in to a song.
