Grafix Premieres New Song “Don't Slow Down” on BBC Radio 1
British drum and bass DJ Grafix premiered a new song “Don't Slow Down” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the title track of his upcoming sophomore album, which is set to be released in October 2025.
It is third single off of the album, following “We're On Fire” featuring Madishu and “Vital Signs” featuring Nu-La.
The album is his first body of work in three years since the 2022 debut album “Half Life” and comprises 14 tracks.
The track was written and produced by Grafix.
“The one thing is that this is the title track of my second album, which is also called Don't slow down. And that is coming out in October,” Grafix told Jack Saunders about the song and the album. “I've just been working on music as I've been touring over the last couple of years, and it sort of eventually just formulates into a bigger project. And I think the whole idea behind the album was just to put a bunch of tracks together that were very high energy, very focused around working in the dance floor, but also working on the streaming. And it came out with this.”- Grafix shared on social media, “Very excited to announce my second solo album DON'T SLOW DOWN. To celebrate, I'm releasing the title track 'Don't Slow Down'. This one's been a long time coming, and I can't wait for it to be yours. This album has taken everything, time, energy, focus, obsession. I've pushed myself harder than ever before, and can honestly say this is my best body of work to date.”

Grafix is known as one half of British drum and bass duo Fred V & Grafix. The duo announced their split and the continuation of their solo careers in 2018.
Grafix said, “Some people may know this, some people may not, but I was in a duo with a with a very good friend of mine called Fred, aka Fred V. And we toured the world, and we released three albums, and we did so much stuff together. And we eventually decided to take a pause, take a bit of a hiatus, and do our own thing. And we that was a big sort of step into the void. I think we were both underestimated, but I think we both got to a position where we're really enjoying it, and finally standing up on our own two feet. And I think that was quite a big challenge for me as a person that relied on a partner for so long.” - source : BBC Radio 1
