Marshmello Teams Up with Ellie Goulding & AVAION for New Song “Save My Love”
American DJ Marshmello teamed up with British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding and German electronic producer AVAION to release a new song “Save My Love” on June 6, 2025.
This marks the first time Marshmello, Ellie Goulding, and AVAION have worked together.
For Marshmello, the song follows “Worlds Apart” with Ar/Co, which was released back in March.
Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding joined in the song as the second collaborative single of 2025, following “Hypnotized” with Italian-American DJ Anyma.
For AVAION, the song is the third collaborative single, following “Wacuka” with Sofiya Nzau and “Blindspot” with Goodboys and Nu Aspect, and “Can't find you” with oskar med k.
The track was written by AVAION, Connor McDonough, Ellie Goulding, Gray Hawken, Jake Torrey, Marshmello, Riley McDonough, and TK. Produced by Marshmello, TK, Connor McDonough, and AVAION.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ian Lipton and was filmed in Los Angeles.- On the track, Marshmello hide a secret message, which is his logo mark.
Marshmello said of the song, Ellie and I set out to make a song that like 3 hours on the beach and slam it into 3 min and 35 secs. I hid a secret message in my song with Ellie Goulding and AVAIO. I want to show you guys something pretty cool that I did. I decided to hide an image within my new song, 'Save My Love' with Ellie Golden, and I'm going to show you guys how I did it. So basically, this is called a spectrogram, and it shows the frequencies of a song. All this pink right here is all the low end all the stuff you hear in the club that rumbles you. And then everything up top is called the high end high frequency. So basically, I have a program where I can hide an image within these frequencies. So I'll show you right at the very end of the song. There it is. So yeah, this is my logo. Kind of cut out of the frequencies you'll hear the song, change a little bit at the end but I thought it's pretty cool. So I wanted to show you guys that little fun fact about the song called 'Save My Love' with Ellie Golding.” -
