Kehlani Releases New Song “Folded”
American singer-songwriter Kehlani released a new song “Folded” on June 11, 2025 via Atlantic Records.
The song is the their fist solo music since the fourth mixtape “While We Wait 2”, which was released last July.
Also, the single follows the collaborative song “Think Of Me” with Daecolm, David Guetta, and HUGEL, which was released last month.
This song expresses the emotional complexity of a relationship that’s on the edge, teetering between breakup and reconciliation.
The track was written by Andre Harris, Darius Dixson, Dawit Kamal Wilson, Don Mills, Donovan Knight, Kehlani Parrish, and Khris Riddick-Tynes. Produced by Andre Harris, D.K. the Punisher, Don Mills, and Khris Riddic.
This year, Kehlani was nominated for Best R&B Song with “After Hours”, Best Progressive R&B Album with “Crash” and Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year with “After Hours” at the BET Awards 2025.- Kehlani told CBS about nominations, “I wanna say - and this is in the most respectful and grateful way - that it hasn’t changed anything. These things shouldn’t shape your perception of your art as an artist. They should just confirm that you’re getting better at telling your story.”
