  • Ryn Weaver Returns With New Song “Odin St”

  • American singer-songwriter Ryn Weaver returned with a new song “Odin St” on June 16, 2025.

The song is her first music in a decade since the 2015 debut album “The Fool”.
She released the comeback song on the same day of the release of the debut album.
The track was written by Erin Wüthrich, Constantine Anastasakis, and Patrick James Grossi. Produced by Benjamin Greenspan and Blonder.
Also the song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album.

Ryn Weaver told Billboard about the album, “I do feel like these two albums are going to be companion pieces - the first one is very bold and bright, and there's a lot of darkness in what I wrote, even if the energy isn't. And the newer stuff is a bit of a photo negative. Different colors, but it's not like I'm not a romantic, theatrical, intense person still. I've just matured.”
  • Ryn Weaver said of the song, “I don't think it's any secret I ran away from my record process (who me?) and lived the hardest I could. This song is chronologically exactly where I left you.. I didn't even pick the house myself i was flung there and I loved it. I didn't know too much about Odin then, but it was the street I landed on after I got everything I wanted and realized I didn't need it. I needed something bigger. I wanted wisdom and purpose and depth, but as we know.. self awareness is the first step in a long journey toward acclimation. This period was truly the house down the road from wisdom. she was so naughty.”

She continued, “The song actually started living as a seed until I brought it to Active Child jussssst prior to covid.. We started something so hopeful and gorgeous but I realized it was dirtier than that. Flash forward- I'm writing for a young artist with Blonder and I, we clicked so hard we kept the party going until we revisited the idea at 7 am.. And I could only sing the song in this key by then (obviously couldn't change it, iconic and messy and dark) but the song found its home base, recording it however was a different story.”

  • She added, “Benjamin Greenspan was so patient with me trying to get this song finished enough to mix and master (I have my reasons) but committing to the take and deciding I really was just taking this plunge.. required love and tenderness for a girl who couldn't even stop shaking. It was never about not wanting it enough. I wanted it too much. I wanted it too much. But… tomorrow right? I'm so grateful for everybody who still listens to the girl who cried “I'm fine” and had to figure it out later. I'm not stopping again. Glad i did tho. Inertia's a bitch. let's keep it rolling.”
