Calum Scott Releases New Song “Die For You”
British singer-songwriter Calum Scott released a new song “Die For You” on May 23, 2025.
The song is the sixth single off of his upcoming third studio album “Avenoir”, following “God Knows” released last month.
The album is set to be released on September 12, 2025.

He co-wrote the song with producers Corey Sanders and Jon Maguire.
Calum Scott said of the song, “I have been eagerly anticipating for the last four years to release this song. After experimenting with more uptempo songs on the album, I wanted something that spoke to the soul. 'Die For You' is a classic devotion of love, a poetic and visual kind of storytelling that from my earliest dreams of being an artist, was what I always saw myself performing. This feels just as special to me as 'You Are The Reason' and 'Dancing On My Own.' I'm so excited for the world to hear this.”- The new album comprises 14 tracks, produced by The Nocturns, Jon Maguire, LVLS, The Six, Dino Medanhodzic, and Digital Farm Animals. It is his first body of work in three years since the 2022 album “Bridges”.
The album title borrows from “The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows”, which is an English word-construction project by John Koenig.
Calum Scott said of the album, “It has been a long 3 years to work on this album but this is the album I needed to make! I feel more 'Calum Scott' than I ever have before and I think you'll hear that on this new record!”
He added, “Avenoir refers to how we move through life like a rower moves: always moving forward but facing backward, seeing where we’ve been, but not where we’re going.
