Sofia Camara Releases New Song “Girls Like You”
Back in March, Canadian singer-songwriter Sofia Camara released her highly-anticipated debut EP “Was I(t) Worth It?”, including her hits “Starlight” and “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent)”.
Following the EP, she released her brand new single “Girls Like You” on May 30, 2025.
She first performed the song during Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis' The Epilogue World Tour in Europe and the UK in February 2025. Sofia Camara has released the collaborative song with Dean Lewis called “With You” from the deluxe edition of his third studio album “The Epilogue”.
The new track was written by Donny Bravo, Elizabeth Lowell Boland, Michael Wise, Nathan Ferraro, and Sofia Camara. Produced by Nate Ferraro, Lowell, Mike Wise, and Donny Bravo.
The music visualizer for the song will premiere on June 3, 2025.- Sofia Camara said of the song, “This song is about emotional muscle memory. Falling back into old patterns despite warnings and hard-earned lessons. It's a deeply human experience: the conflict between what we know is best for us, versus what we feel in the moment. It reminds me that even though I've loved and lost, there's something so beautiful about a little bit of danger and the unknown – especially when it feels so familiar, like love. It's been so exciting to create this song, and I've truly enjoyed the process of making music that makes me want to sing and dance like no one is watching. It makes me feel like falling in love and reminds me of the feeling right before you start to fall.”
