Nemo Releases New Song “Unexplainable”
London-based Swiss singer-songwriter Nemo released a new song “Unexplainable” on May 16, 2025.
They first performed the song at The grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland on May 17, 2025.
Last year, Nemo won the Eurovision 2024 with “The Code”. This year, they appeared on The grand final as a musical guest.
The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming debut album “Arthouse”, which is set to be released this fall.
According to Nemo, the song poured out of them one night, as they grappled with a tendency to over analyze their thoughts and feelings that leaves them “feeling detached from my emotions”.
It was written by Kellen Pomeranz, Liam Maye, MIA GLADSTONE, and Nemo. Produced by Nemo, Liam Maye, and PomPom.- Nemo said of the song, “When I started writing this song one evening, it just poured out of me. I tend to overthink and view everything rationally, which often leaves me feeling detached from my emotions. That's why dreams have always fascinated me-they seem to be the only place where thoughts and feelings can exist freely. In a way, UNEXPLAINABLE is a mirror of that space, existing without a clear conclusion.”

Nemo told BBC about their performance at the Eurovision 2025, “The most important thing was [that] I gained a lot of self confidence in myself as an artist. It adds a level of relaxation to the creation process, because I know I can trust my gut when it comes to writing songs and performance. I'm less nervous this year. Or nervous in a different way - but it's nice to nice to know I can come back without any expectations.” - source : Apple Music
