RAGS AND RICHES Releases New Song “Devil In Disguise”
American alt-pop duo RAGS AND RICHES, consisting of Tanner Whitt (vocals/guitar) and Peyton Whitt (drums), released a new song “Devil In Disguise” on May 23, 2025.
The song was inspired by the struggles of Elvis Presley and captures the dangerous game between indulgence and destruction. It's a story of glamour and despair, of winning big and losing it all.
The song is the follow-up to “Hush”, which was released last month. Both songs will appear on their upoming EP.
It was written by DeMarko Murphy, Peyton Alan Whitt, Tanner Austen Whitt, and Will Mahoney. Produced by Peyton Alan Whitt.
The accompanying music was directed by Spencer Wallace.- The duo said of the song, “Inspired by the struggles of Elvis Presley but written for anyone facing their own personal battles, this song pulls back the curtain on the enticing yet destructive nature of addiction.”
They continued, ”This song isn't just about one man's struggle; it's about the universal battle against our own vices. Whether it's substance abuse, gambling, or any addiction that keeps pulling us back in, 'Devil In Disguise' serves as both a warning and an anthem. The devil may wear a beautiful face, but in the end, the cost is always too high.” -
