Twin Atlantic Releases New Song “Salvation”
Scottish alt-rock band Twin Atlantic, consisting of Sam McTrusty (vocals/rhythm guitar), Ross McNae (bass), Craig Kneale (drums) and Barry McKenna (guitar), surprise-released a new song “Salvation” on May 22, 2025.
The song is their first music since their seventh studio album “Meltdown”, which was released last August.
Also, the track will appear on their upcoming eighth studio album.
This marks a purely independent release on their own Staple Diet label.
Additionally, this time, original member and drummer Craig Neal returned to the band for the first time in four years.
The track provides a moment of uplifting joy against the current state of chaos the world is going through.
It was written by Ross McNae and Sam McTrusty. Produced by Sam McTrusty, Ross McNae, and Dan Austin.
The band bassist Ross McNae said of the song, “There's plenty to be angry about in the world today, but we still believe in the power of music to make a difference.”- The band will perform at the upcoming summer's festival shows with the original lineup for the first time in since 2021.
Starting Slam Dunk on May 24, before heading on to Download Festival, Isle of Wight, 2000 Trees, TRNSMT & more, as well as several select headline shows across the UK.
