Jenna Davis Announces Debut Album “Where Did That Girl Go?”, Shares New Song “San Diego”
American actress and singer-songwriter Jenna Davis has announced her upcoming debut album “Where Did That Girl Go?” will be released on June 27, 2025 via SMACK Records.
The album comprises 8 tracks, produced by Chris Rafetto.
From the album, she unveiled a new song “San Diego” along with a music video on May 30, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “On a Budget” and “Miss Wannabe”.
It was written by Emma Klein, Jenna Davis, Mike Robinson, and Sarah Buxton. Produced by Chris Rafetto.
Jenna Davis said of the song, “I've always had a hard time writing love songs because I despise cheesiness or overdone lovestruck lyricism. However, it wasn't until this past spring where I wrote my first love song that I actually liked. Perhaps, it's because 'San Diego' represents a new era for me. Yes, the song is raw and depicts my relationship with my long distance boyfriend however, the song represents much more. For instance, 'San Diego' illustrates how humans associate people with places and memories.”- She continued, “Whether you met a special someone in a new location, your hometown, on vacation, at a bar, or in my case a long distance city; we as people commonly tie people with their locations. Nevertheless, 'San Diego' also represents newness and the depiction of how sometimes meeting a person can introduce us to liking or trying new things & experiences. Keep in mind, that sense of change is positive and doesn't take away from the freedom and escapism I feel in my self when I'm around him. To sum it up, 'San Diego' is a mix of new & unfamiliar emotions and experiences. It's where I am right now. It's breezy, screams summer, and the lyrics are simple until you break them down.”
