Paul Weller Announces New Covers Album “Find El Dorado”, Shares “Lawdy Rolla” & “Pinball”
British singer-songwriter Paul Weller has announced his upcoming covers album “Find El Dorado” will be released on July 25, 2025 via Parlophone Records.
The album comprises 15 tracks, produced by Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene, and features collaborations from Hannah Peel, Declan O'Rourke, Robert Plant, Seckou Keita, Amelia Coburn, and Noel Gallagher.
A deeply personal record that sees Paul Weller revisit songs that have long lived in the back of his mind, reimagined with fresh meaning and a sense of reverence.
From the album, he released two covers of The Guerrillas' “Lawdy Rolla” and Brian Protheroe's “Pinball” on May 21, 2025.
The original version of “Lawdy Rolla” was released by French studio band The Guerrillas in 1969. It was written by M. Robin.
Meanwhile, “Pinball” was released by British singer-songwriter Brian Protheroe in 1974. It was written by Brian Protheroe.
Both cover versions were produced by Steve Cradock.- The album is released in 3 vinyl editions: double black vinyl (all retail), double coloured vinyl (coke bottle green - exclusive to Paul's webstore) and Amazon has an exclusive double black vinyl album with alternative sleeve artwork.
