  • Keo Announces Debut EP “Siren”, Shares New Song “Thorn”

  • London-based alt-rock band Keo, consisting of Finn Keogh (vocals/guitar) and Conor Keogh (bass), Oli Spackman (drums) and Jimmy Lanwern (guitar), has announced their debut EP “Siren” will be released on June 19, 2025 via AWAL.

From the EP, the band released a new song “Thorn” on May 14, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the EP, following “I Lied, Amber” released back in March.
The track received its first play during BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
As with the previous song, it was written by Fin Mac Keogh and produced by Pete Robertson.

The band lead singer Finn Keogh said of the song, “Thorn’ is a breakup song - the original name was literally ‘Hate’, which I think says it all. It’s about that period straight after a relationship ends when it’s completely consuming. You start seeing someone’s true colours and feel like you wasted years of your life on them, they weren’t who you thought they were.”
  • The band shared on social media, “We’ve had it spinning in our heads for years. Thorn changed my life and felt like a turning point in my writing, it was the first time I went somewhere I didn’t necessarily want to go in order to get the song out of me. We’re proud of this one.”
