ADMT Returns With New Song “Come Along”
British singer-songwriter Adam Taylor, aka ADMT returned with a new song “Come Along” on May 30, 2025.
The song is his first own music in a year since “Graffiti Bridge”, which was released last May.
Also it is the first release under his new label BMG Records.
Written during a train ride to London, the track is a song for anyone who’s ever looked around at the life they’ve built and wished one specific person could have stayed long enough to see it.
It was written by Adam Taylor, James Gilodi, and Phil Cook, whoc also produced the track.
“I just had this feeling on the train,” ADMT said of the song. “It sucks that this person who was once a huge part of my life isn't in it anymore. They were there when I started busking, when I said, 'I'm going to do this thing' and most people doubted me. They listened. Now I’ve done everything I said I would, and they’re not here to see it. That’s heartbreaking. I think we expect certain people to stay in our lives forever, but life teaches you differently. Some people are only meant for a chapter, a page, even a line. That’s what this song is about - wishing they could’ve come along for the whole book.”
He added, “It’s a lesson, isn’t it? Everything’s a lesson, even if it hurts. I’m still figuring out what this one means.”- He shared on social media, “This one means a lot to me. I wrote it about someone who I really thought would be by my side for the long haul-someone I imagined would be there to see all the twists and turns of my journey, and whose journey I thought I’d be part of too. Life had other plans, and somewhere along the way I ended up here..”
He continued, “There are still moments where I catch myself wishing they could see all of this now... the things I once dreamed about out loud to them, actually happening. This song is me processing that, holding space for both the gratitude I feel and the pain of what wasn’t meant to be..” -
On his music, ADMT speaks on the things that matter: poverty, housing issues, youth education, and especially mental health.
“They’re not just topics; they’re real. People are going through it. I’ve been through it. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, to carry stuff in silence. That’s why I make music the way I do, so people feel less alone. So they feel understood.” - source : Apple Music
