  • Myles Smith Releases New EP “A Minute, A Moment...”

  • British singer-songwriter Myles Smith released his third EP “A Minute, A Moment...” on May 23, 2025 via RCA Records.

The EP is a sequel to the second EP “A Minute...”, which was released last November.
Written and recorded over the past year, the EP explores themes of identity, love, heartbreak and self-discovery.
The EP comprises 6 tracks, produced by Andrew Wells, Peter Fenn, Ehren Ebbage, Will Bloomfield, and The Monsters & Strangerz, featuring writing contributions from Andrew Wells, Myles Smith, Tobias Jesso Jr., Jesse Fink, Andrea Rocha, Dan Smith, Phil Plested, Steph Jones, Will Bloomfield, Gregory Aldae Hein, Jordan K. Johnson, and Stefan Johnson.

Myles Smith said of the EP, “This EP has been a real labour of love, months of time, care, and everything I had to give.”
  • Before the release of the EP, he was considered as one of the most influential people in the world in 2025 by Time Magazine.

Myles Smith told Rebecca Judd of Apple Music, “Ten years ago I thought Luton was the edge of the earth, last year I thought it was England, and now it's the world. I just want to continue to make music that connects and keep doing what I'm doing.”

He said, “And then to be at the TIME 100 Gala standing among people who've changed the world was something I'll never forget. None of it feels real without the people who've believed in me from the start. Thank you for giving me the courage to keep going. I'll never stop being thankful.”

  • Myles Smith said of the first single “My First Heartbreak”, “This song is a reflection on my childhood and the impact of my father leaving. It's about the pain and confusion I felt as a child, trying to make sense of why he wasn't there and wrestling with feelings of self-blame. Even though he left, there's still this undeniable connection - I see parts of him in me, in my features, in who I am. That bittersweet realisation is at the core of the song. As I've grown older, I've come to terms with that pain and used it to shape the person I want to be. This song is as much about heartbreak as it is about resilience and hope. It's about breaking the cycle, learning from what I didn't have and promising myself that I'll be the kind of father who never leaves.”
