TRUSS Releases New Song “Numb”
American hard rock band TRUSS, consisting of Hannah Crandall (vocals), Eric Kennedy (guitar) and Holden Szalek (drums), will release their upcoming sophomore album “FLUORESCENCE” on June 6, 2025.
The album is their first body of work in three years since the 2022 debut album “RESET MY HEAD”.
From the album, the band released the fourth and final pre-release single called “Numb” on May 30, 2025, following “Tell Me Something”, “SELFISH”, and “SOILED”.
The song sets the tone for a self-produced, emotionally charged album, exploring grief, nostalgia, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
The track was written by Hannah Crandall, Eric Kennedy, and Holden Szalek. Produced by Eric Kennedy and Holden Szalek.- The band lead singer Hannah Crandall said of the album, “Each song was written when I was in a different headspace. HEAVY came out of losing someone close to me. Tell Me Something was about feeling directionless. I hope people can resonate with FLUORESCENCE, if nothing more than to feel a sense of nostalgic comfort that everyone longs for.”
Guitarist Eric Kennedy added, “We grew up in the 90s and 2000s when bands were really experimenting - pushing boundaries sonically. This record was our way of tracing back to what made us love music in the first place, but through a 2025 lens. The entire project was done DIY - written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered in our own homes.” -
