  • Three Days Grace Announces New Album “Alienation”, Shares New Song “Apologies”

  • Canadian rock band Three Days Grace, consisting of Adam Gontier (vocals), Neil Sanderson (drums), Brad Walst (bass), Barry Stock (guitar), Matt Walst (vocals), has announced their upcoming eighth studio album “Alienation” will be released on August 22, 2025 via RCA Records.

The album is their first LP in three years since the 2022 album “Explosions”.
From the album, the band unveiled the second single “Apologies” on May 9, 2025, following “Mayday”.
The song is accompanied by the Jose Lun-directed animated music video.
It was written by Adam Gontier, Barry Stock, Brad Walst, Dan Lancaster, Joe Rickard, Matt Walst, Neil Sanderson, and Simon Wilcox. Produced by Zakk Cervini, Dan Lancaster, and Howard Benson.

The band drummer Neil Sanderson said of the song, “This song's a mirror for anyone who feels like they're too far gone to be loved. How it hurts more knowing someone did love you-just not enough to save you from yourself. Apologies don't rewind time.”
  • The new album comprises 12 tracks, produced by Zakk Cervini, Dan Lancaster, and Howard Benson.
It is the first release after the return of the band's original singer Adam Gontier.

He said of the album, “'Alienation' is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance-The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about - anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect, are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet, buried in all the wreckage is something human-still reaching out.”
