The Kentucky Gentlemen Releases New Song “Whiskey Does”
Nashville-based twin-brother country music duo The Kentucky Gentlemen, consisting of Derek Campbell and Brandon Campbell, released the third single called “Whiskey Does” from their upcoming debut album “Rhinestone Revolution” on April 22, 2025.
The album is set to be released on June 6, 2025 via River House Artists.
The track was written by Brandon Campbell, Derek Campbell, John Frank, and Tom Pino. Produced by David Mescon and Tom Pino.
The duo said of the song, “We had an absolute blast recording this one. 'Whiskey Does' is one of those 'drinking 'cause I want to stop thinking' kind of songs - the kind you blast when you're laughing through the heartbreak. Sometimes it's easier to toast to the losses when you've got a good vice in your glass. Breakups suck, but whiskey doesn't.”- The new album comprises 16 songs, which the duo recorded with producer David 'Messy' Mescon. It encapsulates the infectious blend of authenticity, self-acceptance and joy.
The duo said of the album, “Our debut album encompasses our entire journey so far. At times, we've felt like we've been in a war, a revolution that we didn't provoke or ask for, with the world around us. But throughout the challenges, we've chosen joy and tenacity and have decided to shine anyway. Dance through it, cry through it, and sing through it. This is us sending the message to those that need it...SHINE ANYWAY, BABY!” - source : Apple Music
