Calvin Harris Premieres New Song “Blessings” featuring Clementine Douglas on BBC Radio 1
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris premiered a new song “Blessings” on BBC Radio 1's Dance Party with Danny Howard.
This time, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter Clementine Douglas on the track.
It marks the first collaboration between Calvin Harris and Clementine Douglas.
The song follows “Smoke the Pain Away”, which was released back in March.
Calvin Harris co-wrote the song with Clementine Douglas and produced it.
Calvin Harris told Danny Howard about working with Clementine Douglas, “I love the sunny ones. But there was when she did the happier tuned on it. I know that was like, basically her song. And I was like, this is proper, because she gets the soul across, she gets the sound. She knows exactly what sound is. She is... I don't know. She just gets it. And it's something pretty magical.”- He said of his making music, “I mean, I just what I love about making a tune is having a feeling or having a thought. You can then put in a thing. That then other people can listen to and have that feeling, like it's the conduit for here. Feel better this. And it's a way of doing that. Some people might do it via words or art paintings, something like that. But I think it's a really interesting thing to experiment with, like sound like, not even like chords, about like audio, like the sound of something, like the sound of that guitar was just like, Okay, this is not a keyboard. This is not a nice.”
