Wilkinson, Camo & Krooked & Mefjus Premiere New Song “Lose Control” featuring ILIRA on BBC Radio 1
British DJ Wilkinson teamed up with Vienna-based DJ duo Camo & Krooked, Linz-based DJ Mefjus, and Swiss singer-songwriter ILIRA to premiere a new song “Lose Control” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
This marks the first time four artists Wilkinson, Camo & Krooked, Mefjus and ILIRA have worked together.
But Wilkinson worked with ILIRA on “Infinity”, which was released in 2023. Also, Camo & Krooked and Mefjus have worked on “Sientelo”, which was released in 2024.
For Wilkinson, the song is the follow-up to “Back To Life” featuring Julia Church, which was released back in March.
The track was written by Illira Gashi, Joe Killington, Mark Wilkinson, Markus Wagner, Martin Schober, and Reinhard Rietsch. Produced by Wilkinson, Camo & Krooked, and Mefjus.- Wilkinson told Jack Saunders about the song, “I'm introvert at the moment, because it just sounds so epic. But it's one of those tunes you can listen to anyway. I mean it feels to me like a movie soundtrack. Mefjus has this like, amazing capability of sound design and mix downs, and Camo & Krooked, you know, working with like the orchestra in Austria and things like that. There's just so many different flavors that have been added to this song. And obviously ILIRA, who featured on 'Infinity' as well. Her vocal on this record is, it just cuts through, and it's really special.”
