Sleep Token Releases New Album “Even In Arcadia”
London-based alt-metal band Sleep Token, consisting of Vessel (lead vocals), II (drums), III (bass), IV (guitar) and Espera (backing vocals), released their fourth studio album “Even In Arcadia” on May 9, 2025 via RCA Records.
It is their first album in two years since the 2023 album “Take Me Back to Eden”.
Also, it is the first release under their new label RCA Records.
The album comprises 10 track, written by Vessel and Vessel II, produced by Carl Bown.
On the album, Sleep Token delivers a towering and visceral body of work - one that fuses the mythic and the modern, the sacred and the feral. Through sweeping instrumentals and lyrics that explore inner eclipses, fallen gods, and fractured identities, the album captures what it feels like to disintegrate and rebuild in a world that demands transcendence.- The album opens with tension through a cinematic, eight-minute rise in the opener, “Look To Windward” and closes with its longest track “Infinite Baths”, which also runs just over eight minutes.
In between, the album features haunting songs about transformation, love, and the cost of existence, such as “Caramel”, “Damocles”, “Gethsemane”, and “Infinite Baths”.
Especially, “Caramel” and “Damocles”s address bandleader Vessel's personal struggles with fame and anonymity. The stress brought to the band members' personal lives as they struggle to remain anonymous as they gain notoriety is highlighted.
