Hope Vista Releases New Song “Bit of a Fever”
New York-based singer-songwriter Hope Vista released her brand new single “Bit of a Fever” on May 9, 2025.
The song finds her continuing to explore the depths of pop music, intertwined with 90's R&B influences and heavy harmony stacks.
It was written and produced by Hope Vista, with production by Steve Venti, who also produced her previous songs of 2025 “When a Young Girl Grieves” and “Unprecedented Metamorphosis”.
This time, she recorded the song over a two-hour session with producer Steve Venti.
Hope Vista said of the song, “The most unexpected ones are always the ones that come out the strongest, which always makes me laugh! I came into the studio with this demo. I didn’t have the bridge written, didn’t know what harmonies I wanted to record, very unprepared. But the chorus was written, verses were done, track was done. So I asked my producer, Steve Venti, if he was down to try and finish this song from start to finish in our two hour session. He was game, so we jumped in and just buckled down. It ended up taking about two and a half hours and we were both so exhausted. I had sweat dripping down my back in the vocal booth, which is kind of fitting for this song, because it’s a bit sexy. Bit of a fever, right? ”- She shared on social media, “I hope y’all will take a listen today and enjoy vibing to it!!! Huge shoutout to @steve_venti_ for being up for a psychotic challenge, when I came into the studio and wanted to finish this song top to bottom in a two hour session. And guess what??? He killed it. A big thank you to my favs ZK productions for mixing and mastering this song, and always understanding my vision for the past 10 (!!!) years.”
