Just Seconds Apart Returns with New Song “Where I Belong”
American folk-pop band Just Seconds Apart, consisting of Sela Poulos (drums), Ari Poulos (guitar), and Alex Poulos (keyboards/bass), returned with a new song “Where I Belong” on April 25, 2025.
The song is their first music in a year since the 2024 single “So Far Gone”.
This is a song about staying present during moments of worry, knowing through the good and the bad, you're where you belong.
It was written and produced by Alex Poulos, Ari Poulos, and Sela Poulos. The accompanying music visualizer was filmed by Samuel Dylan Fisher.
The band said of the song, “'Where I Belong' is a song about staying present during periods of uncertainty. Oftentimes, future-based anxieties can carry us away from what is happening in the now. This song is a reminder to not waste life's precious moments on worry and realize that through the good and the bad, you're where you belong. The first of many to come all year long.”- The band plans several new releases in 2025.
Before the release of the song, the band shared on social media, “New music is coming sooner than you think. We've poured our hearts and souls into these new songs. We've learned much about life, loss, and how the small things really become the big things. Like a cup of coffee, a walk, a Trader Joe's run, a good film, a home cooked meal, laughing, dogs, and more. Our wish is for you to find comfort in these messages and melodies.
