Tasha Cobbs Leonard Releases New Song “Already Good (Tasha Slide)”
American gospel singer-songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard released a new song “Already Good (Tasha Slide)” on May 16, 2025.
The song is her first solo music in a year since “Do It Anyway”, which was released last May.
As the single, the song follows two collaborative singles “Who Can Stand” with Enrique Holmes and One “Hallelujah” with Erica Campbell, Israel Houghton, Jekalyn Carr, and Jonathan McReynolds. “Hallelujah” won Best Gospel Performance/Song at the 67th GRAMMY Awards.
The track blends bounce, faith, and 80s R&B, with a spirit of joy and community at its core.
It was written by Jonas Myrin, Jeffrey Shannon, Kenneth Leonard, Naomi Raine, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Produced by Kenneth Leonard, Jr., and Juberlee.
The accompanying music video was directed by Paul C. Rivera, who filmed it at the Purpose Place Church in South Carolina.- Tasha Cobbs said of the song, “This song is a whole vibe.
