Foster The People Drops New Music Videos for “See You In The Afterlife” & “Feed Me”
Los Angeles-based indie pop band Foster The People, consisting of Mark Foster (vocals/guitar) and Isom Innis (keyboards), dropped two new music videos for “See You In The Afterlife” and “Feed Me” on May 2, 2025.
The videos were directed by Laura Gordon, Jackson James and Ryan Ohm, starring Mark Foster, Julia Garner, Isom Innis, Madaline Riley, Vinny Balbo, Jaja Vankova, and Emilio Dosal.
Two songs are featured on their fourth studio album “Paradise State of Mind”, which was released last August.
“See You In The Afterlife” was written by Isom Innis, Riley MacIntyre, Mark Foster, who also produced it.
“Feed Me” was written and produced by Mark Foster and Isom Innis.
The band lead singer Mark Foster said of the videos, “These videos are transmissions from somewhere between a fever dream and a digital afterlife. If 'See You In The Afterlife' is a satirical take on what life feels like now, 'Feed Me' is the hell that follows. It was interesting to tie these two songs together in a short to explore the two sides of consumption - the dopamine rush of intake, and the void that follows.”- He continued, “Filming 'Feed Me' with Julia felt like stepping into a lucid hallucination - a secret world stitched together by static and memory. One where fear and desire intersect and the result is something beautiful and deeply unsettling. The line between the digital and the divine is thinner, and stranger, than we think.”
