Ellie Holcomb Announces New Album “Far Country”, Shares Title Track
Nashville-based Christian pop singer-songwriter Ellie Holcomb has announced her upcoming fourth studio album “Far Country” will be released on September 12, 2025.
This marks her first solo album in four years since the 2021 album “Canyon”.
Also, the album follows the collaborative album “Memory Bank” with her husband, Drew Holcomb, which was released back in January.
From the album, she unveiled the title track “Far Country” on May 2, 2025.
The track was written by Ellie Holcomb and Jason Ingram. Produced by Cason Cooley.
The accompanying music video was directed by Bryant Bural.
Ellie Holcomb said of the song, “Far Country is for anyone who's ever felt weary or homesick for something more. It's for the wanderers, the wonderers, and every soul making their way through the dark toward the light.”- The new album comprises 11 songs and is a collection of songs born from grief, longing, and the steadfast love of God.
Ellie Holcomb said of the album, “May these melodies remind you of the spacious love of God. I pray that these songs will carry beauty and light to every corner of your story, and that they'll whisper, like an old friend would, that you are dearly loved and you'll never walk alone. We're all just kids making our way back home, and I'm honored to sing alongside you on the journey." -
She added, “The songs on this record are honest and raw. They carry heartbreak and hope, doubt and delight, suffering, searching, darkness, and light. If you’ve ever felt the weight of the world heavy on your chest and thought to yourself.... 'There’s got to be more than this,' you’re not alone. And...what if there’s more? Let’s go find it!” - source : Apple Music
