Grace Davies Announces Debut Album “The Wrong Side of 25”, Shares New Song “Super Love Me”
British singer-songwriter Grace Davie has announced her upcoming debut album “The Wrong Side of 25” will be released on July 11, 2025.
The album comprises 15 tracks, produced by Grace Davies and Paul Whalley.
This marks the first time Grace Davies has been a producer for an entire project.
From the album, she released a new song “Super Love Me” on May 23, 2025.
The song is the fifth single off of the album, following “MDE”, “Do Or Die”, “Another Night”, and “A Wonderful, “Boring, Normal Life”.
It was written by Grace Davies, James New, Nicholas Bradley, and Paul Whalley. Produced by Grace Davies and Paul Whalley.
The accompanying music video was directed by Oska Zaky.- Grace Davies said of the song, “In 2020 I got into a very fast-moving, 'covid bubble' relationship, where one day I was facetime dating someone, then we were going on socially distanced walks - and then suddenly he lived in my flat for weeks with me. But alas, one day he woke up, left the flat and I never heard from him again... Sometimes I have to remind myself of what this song is about, because I just want to boogie round my bedroom, but really - it is a classic Grace sad girl anthem.”

Grace Davies told MusicTech about working as a producer on the album, “I have a producers head but not an engineers hands. Lockdown in 2020 was actually a great time for me as a songwriter because, with no one else there to do it for me, it forced me into the uncomfortable zone of really honing my craft as an 'engineer'. I'm grateful for that time and for the producers I worked with during that period who really championed me.”
She added, “My love for the creative process has grown so much more. But, being in a studio for 18 months, working things out, problem solving, surrounding myself with incredible musicians and having the time and patience to try out the weirdest, least commercial ideas was the most fun I've ever had. I think the tables have very much turned for me, and the studio is now my happy place.”
