Doja Cat Releases New Song “Demons”
American rapper Doja Cat will release her upcoming fourth studio album “Scarlet” on September 22, 2023 via Kemosabe and RCA Records.
From the album, she released the third single called “Demons” along with a music video on September 1, 2023.
The track was written by Amala Zandile Dlamini, David L. Doman, Danny Levin, and Christina Doman. Produced by d.a. got that dope.
The accompanying video was directed by Christian Breslauer and Doja Cat, starring American actress Christina Ricci.
On the clip, Christina Riccis family learns that the home is haunted by a devilish creature (Doja Cat) after purchasing a new house.
Doja Cat will perform the lead single “Attention” from the album at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2023.
“Attention” is nominated for Video of the Year, Best Direction, and Best Art Direction for the MTV Video Music Awards.- The new album is comprises 15-track and is her first body of work in two years since the 2021 album “Planet Her”.
Doja Cat shared the album artwork on social media. It featured a painting of a big pinkish arachnid and a small drop of blood.
But fans noticed that it looked almost identical to the cover for German metal-core band Chaver's third studio album “Of Gloom”, which is out on the same day of Doja Cat's new album.
Then, she revealed an updated cover, which featured two pearlescent spiders instead of the single pink arachnid. - source : Apple Music
