Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Wild Horse Releases New Song “Cougar”
Sussex-based alt-pop trio Wild Horse, consisting of Jack Baldwin (vocals/keyboards), Henry Baldwin (bass) and Ed Barnes (drums), released a new song “Cougar” on January 27, 2023 via their new label The Animal Farm Music.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio Kent and is the follow-up to “Fire” released last October.
The track was written by Jack Baldwin and produced by Matt Leppanen.
“COUGAR” is the tale of a lonely housewife who starts using psychedelics and visiting younger men to escape the pain of real life and her failing marriage.
This song also features the soulful gospel vocals of Jalissa Livermore on backing vocals and reminds everyone that even if you know it won't end well, you can't turn back.
The band said of the song, “It's very different from anything we done before and we're super proud of it.”- Wild Horse will support British singer-songwriter Daniel Wakeford's UK tour this Spring. The tour kicks off at The Blues Kitchen in Manchester on March 30th and will conclude at O2 Academy in Islington on April 29, 2023.
