Spanish singer-songwriter Alice Wonder released a new song “Yo Quisiera” on December 19, 2022.
The song is the first single since her sophomore album “Que Se Joda Todo Lo Demás”, which was released back in June.
It was written by Alice Wonder. Produced by Alice Wonder, Carlos Ares and Ángel Luján.
Alice Wonder said of the song, “It seems that the message is pessimistic, but it really is positive, it is continuist, it leans towards faith despite the incongruity of life itself.”
Also she shared on social media, “Listening to it now I fall into how complex this song is for me, one of those things that (you) illuminate and/or obscure. I hope you like it, or dislike it, or feel nothing or feel everything. I really don't expect anything, the song came to me as what is about to happen with it and we are ready for whatever comes.”- She aims to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song. But she has to win on the Spanish song contest Benidorm Fest, which will take place at he Palau Municipal d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm in Benidorm.
This year, Ukrainian artist Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision 2022 with "Stefania" (Стефанія). But Ukraine was unable to meet the demands of hosting the event due to security concerns caused by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
