Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen announced her sixth studio album “The Loneliest Time” would be released on October 21, 2022.
It is her first album in two years since the 2020 album “Dedicated Side B”.
The album comprises 16-track, including three bonus tracks.
Carly Rae Jepsen said of the album, “I'm quite fascinated by loneliness. It can be really beautiful when you turn it over and look at it. Just like love, it can cause some extreme human reactions.”
From the album, she unveiled the second single “Beach House” on August 5, 2022, following “Western Wind”.
The track was written by Carly Rae Jepsen, Nate Cyphert, and Alex Hope, who also produced it. Featuring ad vocals, Joey Hendricks, Tony Marino, Bobby Wooten, Jared Manierka and Ben Romans.
Carly Rae Jepsen shared on social media, “'I've got a beach house in Malibu and I'm probably going to hurt your feelings'. An idea that sparked and had me laughing til my friends NATE Cyphert and Alex Hope joined the fun. Thanks to my buds for writing this bad boy with me.
