Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kygo & Dean Lewis Team Up for New Song “Never Really Loved Me”
Norwegian DJ Kygo teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis to release a new song “Never Really Loved Me”.
This marks the first time Kygo and Dean Lewis have worked together.
Both artists teased the song on Instagram on June 26th.
The song follows up “Freeze”, which was released back in May.
It was written by Adeliz Calderon, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, Dean Lewis and Anita Jobby. Produced by Kygo.
The lyric video was directed by Johannes Lovund.
For Dean Lewis, the track is first single since “Hurtless” released back in March.
Kygo shared on social media, “So happy to finally work with Dean Lewis. Been a big fan for some years now, and we had so fun making this one! 🎶 Dean and I listening to the final master of 'Never Really Loved Me' a couple weeks ago in LA! As you can probably can tell we're both pretty excited for this one!”
Dean Lewis shared on social media, “The first time I ever met Kygo in LA after working on the song together from across the world!! The next day we got into the studio and listened to the final mix together for the first time.
