Elle King Performs “Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)” on The Late Late Show with James Corden
American singer-songwriter Elle King appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform “Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)”.
Elle King released the song with American country music singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert back in February.
This time, she played the song as solo. The track was written by Elle King and Martin Johnson.
The song was recorded prior to the COVID-19 pandemic in both Nashville and New York.
“I think this fun song was born of our becoming friends over the last couple of years,” Miranda Lambert said. “We are new friends but it really feels like we are old friends, and I felt like that immediately when I met her at one of her shows.”
Elle King said, “The true story of this song sums up our wild friendship. Miranda is someone I have looked up to as a songwriter, musician, performer and human being for a long time. So our tumbleweed snowball story of getting to know each other is the ultimate real deal kinda thing.”- source : CBS
