Summer Salt Drops New Music Video for “Palm Tree on Avenue G”
- Earlier September, Austin-based alt-pop band Summer Salt released their new EP “Avenue G”.
From the 4-track EP, the duo has dropped a new music video for “Palm Tree on Avenue G” directed by Matthew Terry, Eugene Chung and Tay Miles.
The track was written by Matthew Ryan Tery and Eugene Woo Chung. It is tropical pop sound.
The video features the artwork from over 100 fans. Summer Salt said, “In July, we created an open call to our fans to contribute to a fan-inspired stop-motion music video, and we were so thankful to receive over 100 applications from around the world! We accepted all applicants and have enjoyed working on this extremely special project ever since.”
The band continued, “Thank you to all of our fans from all over the world who helped make this video possible and contributed your own unique styles! We are forever grateful and thankful to have this moment to share with y'all for the rest of our lives. It has been so beautiful to see the amount of passion from every artist who put their heart into this! Everyone one of y'all helps our band culture stay alive and fun and we wouldn't be here without y'all! So much love!
