Valerie Broussard Teams Up With Galantis for New Song “Roots”
American singer-songwriter Valerie Broussard collaborated with Swedish DJ duo Galantis for a new song “Roots”.
This year, she joined in Norwegian DJ Kygo's two songs “Think About You” and “Not Ok”. The new track is the second collaboration with other artist following Kygo in 2019.
“I’ve always considered myself a bit of a wanderer, and so it surprised me greatly when I started missing Los Angeles while I was away on tour,” Valerie Broussard explains. “This song is my love letter to LA, a place I had once considered nothing more than a temporary home. [It’s] about any person or place that makes a life-long traveler want to put down roots.”
The song will appear on her upcoming debut EP “Wonderous Strange”, which is out this fall.- source : Idolator
