American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor released a new song “To The Moon” on May 3, 2024.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming sixth major-label studio album “Timeless”, following the release of “Been Like This” with T-Pain back in March.
On the dance music-inspired, bass-heavy track, she sings as “I've got a spaceship, I'm on the ride of life, Come on.”
The track was written by Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Meghan Trainor, and Federico Vindver who also produced it.
She has already a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
The new album is set to be released on June 7, 2024. It is her first album in two years since the 2022 album “Takin' It Back”.
The album comprises a 10-track, featuring collaborations with T-Pain, Lawrence, and Niecy Nash, produced by Federico Vindver, Gian Stone, and Grant Boutin.- Meghan Trainor said of the album in a press release, “I cannot believe it has been 10 years since this all started, I have never been more grateful for this life that my incredible Megatronz have gifted me with. This new album and tour are all for them and my beautiful family.”
Also she told Rolling Stone about album, “I stopped chasing radio and what I thought people wanted to hear and just wrote what I enjoyed. I put my heart into each song. Sometimes my sad, broken heart and sometimes my happy, confident heart.” - source : Apple Music
