Khalid Releases New Song “Please Don't Fall In Love With Me”
American singer-songwriter Khalid released a new song “Please Don't Fall In Love With Me” on April 5, 2024.
The song will appear on his upcoming third studio album “Sincere”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
The track features an interpolation of American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys' 2009 “Unthinkable (I'm Ready)”.
It was written by A. Graham, Alicia Keys, Denis Kosiak, Jason Kellner, Jef Villaluna, Kerry 'Krucial' Brothers, Khalid Robinson, and Noah '40' Shebib. Produced by Jason Kellner and Denis Kosiak.
Khalid shared on social media, “Is that so bad? I've realized that in the quiet whispers of the night, to when the sun shines through a sliver of these blacked out curtains, that I just want to be loved. I don't know if I really miss you, or maybe the idea of you, but how can I move forward? Every relationship I get in just isn't the same. I don't know. I do know that it's been a while since the both of us talked. I can't help but think that my life would be better if we never met but that's not how it goes. Maybe none of this makes sense after all...”- Khalid announced that the new album would be in 2021, but the album has not been released yet.
Recently, he shared on social media, “I know I've been MIA for a minute but it feels good to be back soon. New Music 2024. New album 2024.”
Back in 2021, he said of the album, “The album really takes that a step further with all of the songs centering around trying to find a purpose and a sense of self in a world where everything is digitally connected but emotionally disconnected. As we all come out of quarantine and venture more into the world and try to reconnect with people we haven't seen in over a year, I hope the messages explored within the album open up conversations and allow people to access their feelings in a new way.” - source : Apple Music
