Sadye Releases New Song “Dark Side”
Back in May, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sadye debuted with her first song “Biblical”.
Following the debut song, released the second single called “Dark Side” on June 30, 2023.
The track was written by Stephanie Haderer, Jesse Thomas, Nicolas Farmakalidis, and Mark Gozman. Produced by Marky Style and NicoTheOwl.
Sadye said of the song, “I was falling in love and I wanted to know everything. Not everyone just rips themselves wide open right away, and having to be patient was healthy but it was killing me. I wanted to write about it in the most honest way I could and I wanted to be dramatic because I am.”- She shared on social media, “I'm so grateful for every person involved. I wanted to marry sounds that are nostalgic to me and Marky Style and NicoTheOwl made something so wild the first time I heard it in my broken beats I lost my mind. Thank you Jesse Thomas for helping me be the most dramatic version of myself. And thank you NicoTheOwl for getting my vocals so snatched !! I'm dedicating this record to the cult.”
